amouroud miel sauvage unisex 100ml

this is a fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Miel Sauvage was launched in 2016. The nose behind this fragrance is John Mastracola. Top notes are bergamot, honey and red pepper; middle notes are agarwood (oud), jasmine and sandalwood; base notes are patchouli, tonka bean and incense.

This is the softest and weakest Amouroud scent I’ve experienced. Safe for warm weather as well as any time anywhere due to its limited projection and low-moderate sillage. Longevity is moderate. There is a dominant sweetness but there’s no the beautiful aroma of honey. It looks like honey, almost. Also sandalwood and incense feel half, shadows of their true nature and smell. Overall it’s a safe and pleasant scent suitable even for office. Just before it dies it feels semi-gourmand and thr “honey” has a watery vibe.

The luxurious fragrance gives way to animalic notes of musk, earthy patchouli, and the gentle fluidity of sandalwood.

a blend of honey, bergamot, jasmine, incense and sandalwood (and oud), Miel Sauvage begins bright and frisky from the sprightly bergamot,  then mellows slightly into a less animalic honey than expected, and slowly warms into a gorgeously narcotic blend of jasmine and sandalwood.  It’s more floral and ladylike than expected from the name Savage (or Wild) Honey, and is unexpectedly easy to wear for an oud.
