Top notes feature absynth and red basil, a heart introduces hotaccords of pimento and patchouli, while a base encompasses styrax and benzoin. The scent was launched in 2009 and the fragrance was created by perfumers Olivier Polge and Domitille Bertier. The top notes are absinthe and red basil. The heart is ruled by patchouli and pimento. Then for the base notes styrax and benzoin. The perfume has a good entrance. It gives you sultriness that you expect from the appearance alone. The immediate smell you will notice is the sweetness of both absinthe and basil. Both of these notes have anise-like smell, it is sweet but pungent at the same time. The segue is pimento and patchouli. The scent’s after a few minutes starts to be spicy. For sure it is pimento which is responsible for this. The spiciness of it is moderated by patchouli which has a minty undertone which encompasses too much warm effect on pimento. Then during the dry down stage, the base notes adds the aromatic color to the entire fragrance. The scent is warm and spicy.
