Joop Homme EDT 125ml

Yourhumblenarrator: Oh God. While I do have some love for the big 80s powerhouses, I find most to be more fun to analyze rather than wear (looking at you YSL Kouros). Joop Homme is no exception. It’s a radioactive freak show in a bottle, and perhaps the most divisive fragrance of all time. Joop opens with an atomic blast of warm, synthetic cherry vanilla, and a dash of equally synthetic cinnamon spice. It’s as steroidal as fragrances get and you’d have to be a true punisher to wear more than one spray. This is what a young twenty one year old guy would wear on his first visit to a strip club, though it would probably work just as well on a stripper. Cloying is surely an overused word in the fragrance world but it’s beyond warranted in this case. It’s trashy, candy like, and obnoxious as hell, but that’s part of the appeal. Enjoy yourself boys, but I’m terrified and gonna have to pass on this impressively aggressive pink juice. Before 1 Million there was Joop! Homme.
