Amouage Opus IX is a Oriental fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. The Library Collection Amouage Opus IX was launched in 2015. Top notes are camelia, jasmine and black pepper; middle notes are guaiac wood, leather and beeswax; base notes are vetiver, ambergris and civet.
This fragrance is EVERYTHING! It’s too much all at once and that’s it’s charm. It feels almost dirty for a while, carnal… a rich white crisp peppery floral with a smoky woody backdrop. Guaiac wood was the perfect choice of wood for this fragrance, it compliments the pepper, leather and civet perfectly. It’s so harmonious.
