First of all, I as a person wear fragrances for the same reason I wear clothes; to feel comfortable and to be appreciated.
But, just as our faces are different, so are our intentions different.
From the early days, fragrances have been linked with seduction, a good example is Cleopatra filling her ship with rose petals, wading knee-deep through them to go and meet Mark Antony, creating the indelible image and smell of a bouquet of roses,”
The sex appeal created by designers in their perfume ads today, only goes further to show that seduction is closely knitted with fragrances
But, are perfumes and fragrances all about seduction?
Perfumes are of course linked with seduction but it is not the aim of wearing fragrances. In fact wearing fragrances show that we are sensible and that we think. It is a necessity for a certain kind of people. Wearing a fragrance could bring back memories of a loved one, child hood or something really dear to people. It is not always about seducing an opposite sex. It is way deeper than that. Wearing fragrances also enhance your image in society. It represent class, taste and exposure.
But whatever your motives for wearing perfumes are, they must serve your interest. And please, don’t wear fake designer fragrances
